Highlights From "My Teen Is Pregnant And So Am I"

Babies having babies, mothers having babies, babies, babies, babies — and plenty of tears. Thanks, TLC!

TLC's latest special My Teen Is Pregnant And So Am I is actually pretty self-explanatory once you know what the title is. It followed two separate families in with a pregnant teen whose mother was pregnant at the same time so it should come as no surprise that the show would be filled with drama.

Here's what you need to know about this first family before watching the following clip:

• Mom Ann is really happy about her daughter being pregnant at 18

• Ann and her daughter are "best friends"

• Ann found out she was pregnant with her ex's baby one week after her divorce

Family #2 is not as happy. In fact, most of their airtime was filled with crying. Here's their deal:

• Mother Melissa is pregnant with her 8th child

• Daughter Kristen is 17 and used to be a cheerleader

• The family is very religious (Southern Baptist) and struggling to deal with Kristen's pregnancy

• Melissa spent a large amount of time in denial about her daughter's pregnancy

• Melissa's father fights with her boyfriend and spent about 95% of his time on the show yelling and/or crying

See The World In ASCII

This low-tech spin on Google Street View turns the world into a mid-80s computer printout.

Times Square

Basically, any place with a Google Street View panorama can now be viewed in ASCII. It's a really cool trick! It's possible thanks to a bunch of open Google Street View tools and this Canadian guy, who's been working on ASCII transformations for a while.

(One caveat: the map search is a little hinky, so you may need to click around the area a few times before the site finds a panorama to load.)

It's particularly fun because Google's been building out Street View for quite a while now, so the database really does show some of the more interesting places on Earth — all of which now can look like a computer printout from the mid-80s. For instance:

7 Ways Bob Dylan Is Worse Than Jonah Lehrer

Jonah Lehrer got busted fabricating Dylan quotes , but Dylan has done a fair amount of fabrication over the years himself. Artists can get away with anything.

Ripped off 19th-century poet, didn't credit.

Lyrics in Dylan's 2006 album "Modern Times" were shown to have close similarities to the poetry of Henry Timrod, a Civil War-era poet.

From a New York Times story at the time:

“More frailer than the flowers, these precious hours,” the 65-year-old Mr. Dylan sings in “When the Deal Goes Down,” one of the songs on “Modern Times.” Compare that to these lines from Timrod’s “Rhapsody of a Southern Winter Night”:

A round of precious hours

Oh! here, where in that summer noon I basked

And strove, with logic frailer than the flowers.

Other Dylan works have drawn attention for similarities to Tennessee Williams and Japanese gangster novels.

Bob Dylan is not his real name.

Dylan famously changed his name from Robert Zimmermann. The choice was thought to be an homage the poet Dylan Thomas, but Dylan denies this.

Here are the reactions to Russia's Viktoria Komova's floor routine results. She needed a 15.36 to take the gold and leave American Gabby Douglas with silver.

With Douglas' win, she becomes the first black woman to take gold in the all-around competition as well as the first American woman to win gold in both the team and individual all-around competitions. Raisman finished fourth because even though her overall score was tied with Mustafina's, her execution score was lower.
